January #mbbinstachallenge Look 1 (Week of Jan. 9-15): My Take on Matte Bright Blue Liner With Super Clean Skin and Nude, Glossy Lips - Makeup and Beauty Blog
Kinda springy, yes?
Here was my original inspiration for this week'due south #mbbinstachallenge look, and y'all don't take to copy this. Y'all tin can do anything you want based on the thought of a bold, colorful chemical element on super clean skin.
I used an old MAC fave chosen Blue Peep Fluidline for the heart makeup (it's perm!), merely I did a slightly more than exaggerated blueish fly.
In the inspiration film I used, it looks like the artist full-bodied mascara in the middle of the models' upper lash lines, and so I added a couple extra coats in that area on my lashes, likewise.
The models look like they're wearing a bronzed nude-ish pink gloss, and so I grabbed another old-school MAC fave of mine, Viva Glam 5 Lipglass.
Information technology feels a little weird to clothing admittedly no color on my cheeks, since I'one thousand always wearing a little something, like at least a touch of blush, highlighter or bronzer, but I definitely like how the absence of color everywhere else on my face makes the eye makeup pop.
Someone on Instagram asked if they could just post an eye shot or a lip shot for the claiming, and yes, of course! — that'due south totally fine! DISCLAIMER: this is not a judgy, serious, instense or stressful contest. This is strictly for fun and to become out of our makeup comfort zones a niggling, which is why I threw a couple of wackier looks into the mix. For me, it'due south easy to ever fall dorsum on the same looks ALL THE Time, and so this is merely an excuse to accept fun and try new things.
Don't exist afraid to completely fail. No affair what (seriously), at least you'll be able to say that yous did something different and expressed yourself creatively. No big bargain. Plus, it's simply makeup. It's not a permanent commitment or anything. 🙂
Reeeeeeeeally excited nigh roasted vegetables
In other news, guess who's on a roasted vegetables kick.
Everything tastes better when you roast information technology, man! Some veggies, like carrots and cauliflower, go sweeter, and you get that nice burnt crunch at the edges… YUM! I'd much rather spend time preparing vegetables and roasting them instead of steaming them, which is then BLUH and boring to me. For some reason, steamed vegetables depress me…
I prepped a bunch of roasted vegetables last weekend to swallow throughout the week — dark-green beans, carrots, cauliflower, parsnips — and I Tin can'T WAIT TO EAT THEM ALL!
I'thousand really looking forward to it.
Exercise y'all accept any good veggie recipes (roasted or otherwise)? Inquiring minds want to know.
OK, I can't exist the just person who gets this excited about roasting vegetables… 🙂
